Dateihafen connects a private publishing workspace with a public library of versioned resources.
One resource, a recorded history
Invited users upload private drafts, review their metadata and request publication of a chosen version. Administrators review each request before it can become public. The library exposes only published versions, with their sizes, formats, dates and SHA-256 values.
Updating a resource creates a distinct version URL. Older versions remain available until explicitly withdrawn or deleted. Accounts are invitation-only. Anonymous uploads and open registration are not available.

The main website provides browsing, documentation and integrity checks. Published file bytes come from one storage system. Delivery can use the website directly or a separately configured HTTPS CDN.
Images and small text resources have safe previews. PDF and ZIP are download-only. A successful availability check reports one actual request; it does not imply an uptime guarantee.
